Circuit Breaker – Day 2
Given our government’s love for the use of mnemonics, they could not have overlooked the implications of naming the Covid Circuit Breaker (CCB). I think it was deliberately chosen so that this inside joke would go viral.
Free publicity is the best kind of publicity.
Last night, I met this guy on my shift. He was taking every opportunity he could to catch a nap. I asked him why he was so tired, and he said he didn’t sleep the night before, because he and his friends wanted to have one last gathering on Monday before the CB started.
Eh, you CB kia. You want to catch Covid, go ahead, but don’t spread it to other people, can?
On the same note, wear a mask, people. Stop worrying about the effectiveness of the cloth mask vs surgical mask. The purpose of the mask isn’t to protect you; it’s to protect others from you in case you happen to be a carrier without realising it.
Don’t be a CB kia. You want to catch Covid, it’s up to you. But don’t spread it to other people, can?
